We all have that family member, friend, or coworker that loves anime. You might ask yourself “what to buy for anime fans?”
Whatever occasion it may be, I provided popular websites with products that might best fit their style. Make sure to ask around if you’re not sure which anime is their favorite, or what character they like best.
I included a small roundup of products, categorized by store to give you an idea of what you can find on these websites (some have physical store locations). Some are best known for their T-shirts, figurines, and smaller-priced gift items but I hope you can discover special items below!

BoxLunch
BoxLunch is a chain store in various locations in FL, USA but they have a website that showcases various trendy items curated around beloved anime and all things pop culture. They sell quality bags (loungefly brands being one of them), shirts, home decor, and more.
I’ve bought items from BoxLunch for myself and others so I highly recommend checking out this website for anime and all pop-culture gifts.
Crunchyroll
Crunchyroll is an American LLC that distributes, publishes, produces, and licenses in the realm of streaming anime, manga, and dorama (Japanese television drama).
Well known for its streaming service to watch anime, they also have an impressive online store. As you can see above, there’s a variety of products they sell. I would suggest Crunchyroll be an option for purchasing figurines above anything else.
Barnes&Noble
Barnes & Noble is an American bookseller company. Over the years, their selection of gifts and collectibles has grown. This includes a wider selection of available anime products!
I should also mention that they sell a wide range of manga as well. This may be good to accompany the collectible you find for them (if they don’t have it already).
I suggest gift shopping at this location because of the low-mid price range of products.
As you can see towards the end there are higher quality figurines. Although the price is higher, I wanted to show that this is a place you can find a variety of figurines for their beloved anime character.
Qwertee
Qwertee sells limited edition tees, stickers, and posters. Each day they have a selected group of shirts that will be on sale ($12), then move to “last chance” ($14) before getting adjusted to the regular price ($16).
I would highly suggest getting your anime T-shirt and poster gifts from this website. These designs aren’t permanent so if you see something you (or someone else) would love, it’s best to grab it right away.
RightStufAnime
RightStufAnime is a division of Right Stuf Inc. that’s an “independent video publisher and distributor of video programming that specializes in Asian entertainment.”
They have pretty good reviews of their figurines but feel welcome to browse their sections for games, manga, and DVDs if you’d like to purchase a copy of your favorite anime (especially if it’s a special collector’s edition)
This website is also a great source to purchase manga at a reduced price vs. retail price.
Hot Topic
Hot Topic has a wide variety of merchandise. As country-wide interest has grown for anime, so has the focus on this vertical for the store.
Hot Topic is still a popular spot for its T-Shirts, which is why I only included those here. If you visit the site, you’ll see other anime-themed clothing such as bathing suits, socks, hats, cosplay accessories, and more.
Be on the lookout for the occasional “buy one get one 50% off” deal for their T-Shirts.
GameStop
GameStop Corp. is one of the largest video game retailers and you’ve probably seen at least one in your city. Depending on the size of your store, you might find more products available online.
Although their main focus is gaming, you’ll find anime in their “collectibles section”.
Looking to support artists?
What I provided above may be a great start, but there’s an incredible amount of artists out there that create artwork catered to your loved one’s favored fandoms.
I wrote an article where I shared various artists who I met at Megacon and Comicon over the past couple of years.
