Artist Compilation from Cons (2021-2022)

This is a source for you to check out some interesting artists who have been to Megacon and Comicon for the past couple of years.

Please browse their websites by clicking on the images below, where you’ll see they do works inspired by several shows, movies, games, and anything in between.

In the future, I’ll have these blogs separated by each convention, but for now, enjoy the compilation!

Items I Bought

Catawampus Press

The artist creates unique designs to satisfy your curiosities of fantasy, folktales, and even storytelling inspired by your favorite characters.

At Megacon Orlando 2021 I purchased a piece that I proudly hang in a corner of my dining area.

A friend also purchased a poster influenced by Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, breaking down each floor of their living quarters with hidden gems.

Julia Gabrielov

Julia’s art is among my favorite styles. It shows skill in paint, pencil, and more.

“Julia's style has undergone many transitions, from anime to hyperrealism. Practicing all these different styles has influenced her style as well as imagination. Today she is still developing her collections and showing them in galleries all over the world. Taking on projects from murals to children's books.”

I first saw Julia’s art at Disney Epcot’s Art Festival in 2019(2020?) and then stumbled upon her booth at Megacon Orlando 2021.

I purchased four different prints. The image shown here is an example of one that I bought, although I have yet to frame it. I loved it as it resembled the esthetic of Sailor Moon.

I highly suggest checking out her art for intriguing pieces and even the chance to purchase some originals.

ThrushCreates

I met the artist for ThrushCreates at a Comicon this year. In a sea of artists representing anime, Star Wars, and other pop-cultures favorites I found this gem. She had multiple Final Fantasy XIV online!

Although I have yet to frame this piece, the picture shown is the same one I bought.
